EDMOND FRANK PARKER

Edmond was born 26 January 1835 in Madison, Lake County, Ohio. He enlisted as a Private on 28 September 1961 in Company B, 1st Minnnesota Infantry Regiment. He was captured and placed in Andersonville Prisoner of War Camp on 23 June 1864 in Petersburg, Virginia. He was then transfered to Prisoner of War Camp Lawton in October 1864. He was discharged on 21 April 1865. In the 1890 Veterans Schedule he lived in Moorhead. Edmond died on 21 April 1918 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. He is buried at Zumbrota, Goodhue County in the Zumbrota cemetery. Burial, Tombstone Picture.


WALTER WARRINGTON PARTRIDGE

Some records have his middle name as Wormington.
Walter was born about 1858 in Gloucester District, Gloucestershire, England.
He left England arriving 5 May 1873 in New York, New York on the ship Egypt. In 1880 Walter is married to Anna Amelia Dahl and they are living in Moorhead, on Fourth Street, with one month old son Carl G. Walter at this time is a printer. Amelia is recorded as being born in Norway ~1861 but in later records she is recorded as being born in Minnesota in June of 1864. In 1885 they are still in Moorhead where 2 year old Jennie W. is with them.
In 1881 Walter became editor of the Moorhead Daily News until 28 February 1883. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Moorhead City Rifles, a part of the National Guard.
Walter died on 21 January 1891 at a very young age but no records nor newspapers reporting it. Both of his children died in 1909 and are buried with him at Prairie Home Cemetery.
On 27 March 1893 in Cass County, North Dakota, Anna Amelia marries Samuel Frazier [Frazer] a mayor of Moorhead in 1896-1897. They had two children; Amelia Marie (1895-1966, married John K. McAllister), and Irma (1897-1979, married Kline Jagger). Anna Amelia died in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington on 4 November 1932.

SEVERN LAFAYETTE PARKS

Severn was born 25 July 1842 in Wyoming, Pennsylvania and died 23 September 1928 in Haxby, Garfield County, Montana. In the 1890 Veterans Schedule and in 1902, for his marriage, he was in Felton. There is an extensive biography of Severn at Burial, Tombstone Picture.


GUSTAVE E. G. PETERS

His given name in records has been listed as Gustave, Gustavus, and Gatarus. He was born in Poland in September 1824. Gustave enlisted as a Private in Houghton, Michigan on 4 September 1864 in Company K, 29th Michigan Infantry. He was promoted to Corporal on 1 Jul 1865 and mustered out on 6 September 1865 at Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In 1895 he is listed as a Past Commander in Grand Army of Republic, L. H. Tenney Post 103 in Hawley. In 1900 he is living in Moorhead. He started drawing his pension on 9 March 1874. Gustave died on 8 January 1901 and is buried in Prairie Home Cemetery in Moorhead. JOSEPH H. PETERSON
JOHN H. PETTERSON

His name is recorded in Illinois civil war records as Joseph H. Peterson and in Post 145 (Barnsville) Grand Army Republic records as John H. Petterson. In May 1889 he is living in Moorhead as an engineer. He was born about 1846 in Ohio. He enlisted into Company G, 147th Illinois Infantry from Joliet, Illinois on 9 February 1865 and was discharged in Savannah, Georgia on 20 Jan 1866.


WILLIAM C. PETERSON

William was born in Germany in September 1844. He enlisted in Company E of the 6th Iowa Cavalry on 7 March 1863 and was mustered out after the end of the war on 17 October 1865 at Sioux City, Iowa. He was a member of Post 145 (Barnsville) Grand Army Republic. William died on 31 January 1914 in Moorhead. He is buried in Deerhorn Cemetery in Wilkin County, southwest of Barnesville.

GEORGE ELY PINGREE

George was born 29 April 1839 in Littleton, Grafton County, New Hampshire. He enlisted as a Private on 5 June 1861 in Company G, 2nd New Hampshire Infantry Regiment. He was promoted to Full Corporal on 9 April 1862. On 3 September 1862 he was commissioned an officer in Company G, 11th New Hampshire Infantry Regiment and on 23 April 1864 was promoted to Captain. On 30 April 1864 he was mustered out and then he was commissioned an officer in Company I, 5th Veteran Reserve Corps Infantry Regiment on 1 May 1864. He was mustered out on 1 January 1868. George died on 23 October 1920 in Champaign, Champaign County, Illinois. He is buried at Riverside Cemetery, Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois. Burial, Picture, Tombstone Picture.


WESLEY W. PITCHER

Wesley was born 7 March 1833. He enlisted in Company E, 1st Minnesota Infantry on 18 March 1865 and discharged on 14 July 1865. He started receiving his pension on 12 April 1886 and his wife, Mary, started receiving a widow's pension on 23 June 1915. His wife lived in Moorhead in 1883 but this researcher not sure if Wesley was here before his death on 8 June 1915. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth, Faribault County. BARTLETT PLUMMER

Bartlett was born in 1 June 1832 in Maine. He is an older brother of below noted Charles B. Plummer. He enlisted from Hastings, Dakota County, as a Private in Company F 8th Minnesota Infantry on 15 August 1862 and was discharged 24 May 1865. From the census reports he was in Parke in 1880, Tansem in 1890 and Hubbard County in 1900. He started receiving his pension in 1879. Bartlett died on 19 April 1913 in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri.


CHARLES BERKLEY PLUMMER

Charles was born on 27 January 1840 in Maine. He is a younger brother of above noted Bartlett Plummer. He enlisted as a Private in Company K 5th Iowa Cavalry on 1 Novemer 1861 and was discharged 25 February 1864. During that time he also served in Brackett's Minnesota Battalion. From the census reports he was in Hawley in 1880, 1890, 1895, and 1900. He is listed as a pioneer having settled in Minnesota in 1850. He started receiving his pension 22 April 1897. His wife, Susan, started receiving a widow's pension on 1 May 1908 [probably 1904]. Both pensions filed in Minnesota. Charles died on 4 April 1904 and is buried in a Hawley Cemetery. JOHN S. PRYOR

John was born in New Brunswick, Canada on 22 May 1842. He enlisted on 15 August 1862 into Company F, Minnesota 8th Infantry Regiment. He mustered out on 11 July 1865 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. John started receiving his pension on 24 January 1895 in Minnesota and his wife Anna, started receiving a widow's pension on 20 August 1903 in Oregon. WILLIAM M. PRYOR

William was born in New Brunswick, Canada in 1843. He enlisted on 3 June 1863 into Company I, Minnesota 6th Infantry Regiment. He mustered out on 19 August 1865 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. In the 1880 Census he was living in Clay County and in the 1883 Pensioners List he was living in Hawley. William started receiving his pension on 10 April 1877. His wife, Minerva, started receiving a widow's pension on 15 July 1884. William died in 1884. He is buried in Glencoe Cemetery in McLeod County. Burial, Tombstone Picture..
